Switching between accounting firms on Mobile

You might start working with a new accountant who also uses Canopy. When you switch between accounting firms that use Canopy, you can keep the same login information for the Client Portal.

As long as your last accountant didn't revoke access to the Client Portal, you can access all your documents from the last firm and the documents and information with your current accountant.

1. Log in to the Client Portal mobile app and tap on the Settings icon.

2. Tap Switch Firms.

• If your account is not associated with multiple firms, this option will not be available to you.

3. Select a firm and tap Switch to this firm.

• A popup message will alert you once your firm switches.
